Global Alliance to Promote Fruit and Vegetable Consumption "5 a Day"

The Assembly of European Horticultural Regions (AREFLH) is a European association created in 2000.

It represents the voice of fruit and vegetable producing regions and their producer organisations in Europe.

It is composed of two types of members: the College of Regions and the College of Producers. The complementarity of these two groups makes encourages joint work and common positions between regions and producers’ representatives. Our members are located in 9 EU countries : France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Austria, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Our missions :

– To represent and defend the economic and social interests of the fruit and vegetable and flower sectors within European and international institutions.
– To encourage exchanges of experience, partnerships and joint projects between associate members.
– To be a force for proposals on the main policies that impact the fruit, vegetable and horticultural sector.
