The International Fruit and Vegetable Alliance offers members a broad range of communications and other resources designed to support and expand 5 a Day-type programs, including:

Communications Tools: Maintaining an active, informative federation website*, providing periodic news and information updates via an e-newsletter, and publishing a short annual report including 5 a Day-type program activity highlights from around the world.

Stock Resources: Providing access to stock resources available for use by all members, including stock fruit and vegetable photography, a recipe library, educational curricula and other materials, and model outreach campaigns.

Media Support: Providing timely model news releases and lay summaries of important research, to help members generate media attention in their country.

Consensus Papers: Developing papers providing consensus expert opinion on related issues of interest, such as what food forms count as a fruit or vegetable, what constitutes a serving size, and organics/pesticide safety.
